On the Day of Your Portrait Session…

Keep Your Appointment: If your session needs to be rescheduled for any reason, please call JPI at least 48 hours before your appointment. If we do not hear from you by 10:30 am on the day of your appointment, you will be charged a $5.00 missed appointment fee.

Arrive 15 Minutes Early: Late arrivals will lose valuable session time. If you are too late, your session will be rescheduled.

Be Prepared: Have your hair and make-up done before you arrive, but don't forget to bring a hairbrush, comb, curling iron, styling products, and make-up for last minute touch-ups. Also, bring at least two additional outfits more than what you plan to use in your session.

Bring a Parent If Possible: They can help you stay organized in the dressing room and keep you looking your best. Also, parents might have a particular pose they'd like you to do and can inform the photographer accordingly.

If Friends or Family Are Joining You For a Portrait: They should arrive at the beginning of your session if you're doing the portrait inside the studio. They should arrive near the middle of your session if you're doing the portrait in the backyard.
